Description
Handsome fold-out 1966 Sinclair road map of Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo, printed more than 56 years ago.The map opens to 18" x 29" and has great detail on old street and highway alignments, with cartography by Rand McNally.
The map of Denver is on one side, south to Green Gables Country Club and Iliff Avenue.
The southern portion of the city is on the other side, along with street plans of Pueblo and Colorado Springs.
The map was distributed by the Sinclair Oil Company in 1966 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 65574620.
There's a detailed street index, and the rear cover has an ad for Sinclair's credit card and an illustration of two gas pumps and the company's trademark dinosaur, an Apatosaurus named DINO (pronounced DYE-NO).
Condition:
This map is in very good, lightly used condition, with a tiny chip in the lower corner of the back cover, some faint toning, and
no
