This poster was specially sized for the London Underground.
Dates from 1983
This is really an incredible poster, it comes directly from the personal collection of Carrie Fisher (who played Princess Leia in the Star Wars saga).
It was also slated to be displayed by Carrie Fisher’s Hollywood movie star mother Debbie Reynolds in her Hollywood museum, which unfortunately never came to fruition.
Poster is in Very Good condition!! (See photos as statement of condition) Some signs of wear to the corners from age and storage.
Displays very well.
Measures approximately 40” x 27”.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
The artwork on this poster is outstanding, features numerous iconic scenes from the film, including Carrie Fisher in her notorious “gold bikini”.
This poster was designed by British artist Josh Kirby and the colors are outstanding.
Original Star Wars posters are fairly rare in their own right, but Original Star Wars posters owned by Carrie Fisher, Princess Leia herself….it’s fair to say they number very very few.
