Goodyear Company Award Plate - MS Sun Viking Cruise Ship Old Metal Sign Numbered

Here is a rare find for the Goodyear Co. collector or for those who like vintage Boat,  Cruise Ship, Ocean Liners souvenirs. The plate is being shown as seen in photos & is made of a very heavy aluminum. It measures 10 3/4" and weighs almost 1 1/2 lbs. The not quite antique plate is beautifully made though and intricately etched. It has a plaque below that reads ' Goodyear MS Sun Viking March 16-23 1983 '. I think it commemorates a company cruise that employees took that year but please rely on photos.  There are numerous makers marks, signatures, letters and/or numbers on the back of this plate to help identify. They include a set of crossed swords that remind me of the Meissen Germany mark, a floral looking stamp that's tough to read encircled by a ring the size of a quarter, the capital letters SB with a bigger 'B' underneath, the capital letters GIF and the number 4571. The piece comes ready to be hung up on your wall. The colorful artwork on front is fabulous with soft palms swaying in foreground and blue skies overhead the majestic Sun Viking. Not sure if it's celluloid or similar but you'll notice some minor damage near front of ship but it doesn't detract from how nicely it displays. Thanks again...
