Vintage original 16 x 11” (41 x 28 cm.) German A3 poster, East Germany. Made shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall, this documentary feature about African American singer, actor and political activist Paul Robeson was completed. It contains much seldom seen footage of his artistic and political lives.
There was an East German poster made with artwork of only the singer’s lips. This poster, with separate images of Robeson, is very seldom seen -- the OCLC does not record any copy of this poster. Unfolded, slight creasing at edges, JUST ABOUT FINE.
