    Becker Radio Security Codes
Radios installed in vehicles prior to 1986 did NOT have a Theft Security Circuitry.
    Mercedes-Benz Models
    :
    1986 -1987: Radio Model 754
    - This radio has an internal Lithium Battery that is used to hold the back-up memory. As this radio reaches nearly three-decades of operation, there are cases where the Lithium battery dies. When this happens, the radio can be triggered into the Theft Mode (four double-dashes -- -- -- --) at the first time the vehicle battery is disconnected. If this happens, the radio will need to be removed and shipped to us where we will repair / reset and deactivate the Theft Mode.
    1988 - 1989: Radio Model 780
    - The Theft Mode of this radio can be accidentally triggered, usually by accidentally forgetting to reconnect the theft connection tab on the bottom center of the radio bottom cover when dashboard related services are provided and radio reinserted. The Theft Mode will be triggered the first time the alarm is set on the vehicle (four dashes -- -- -- --). If this happens, the radio will need to be removed and shipped to us for repair / reactivation. While here, we will disable this feature from accidentally triggering in the future.
    1990 (Model 1480) -1993 (Model 1432)
    - This radio has a four-digit Theft Security Code assigned to it based upon the radio serial number. When the vehicle was originally delivered, a special card containing the security code was provided. When the vehicle battery is disconnected, the radio will revert to the CODE on the display. If the code number was lost, provide us with the radio serial number and we can help to obtain the proper reactivation code.
    1994 - 1997: Radio Model 1492 (1692) CM22XX
    - This radio has a five-digit Theft Security Code assigned to it based upon the radio serial number. When the vehicle was originally delivered, a special card containing the security code was provided. When the vehicle battery is disconnected, the radio will revert to the CODE on the display. If the code number was lost, provide us with the radio serial number and we can help to obtain the proper reactivation code.
    1998 – 2002: Radio Model 3302/3309/6003/CM1910
    - This radio has a five-digit Theft Security Code assigned to it based upon the radio serial number. When the vehicle was originally delivered, a special card containing the security code was provided. When the vehicle battery is disconnected, the radio will revert to the CODE on the display. If the code number was lost, this model allows the customer to access the radio serial without removing the radio from the dash: With the radio turned on, press the TEL and # buttons simultaneously. Press the FFWD button and scroll through until the serial appears on the display. Provide us with the radio serial number and we can help to obtain the proper reactivation code.
