Description

The Volkswagen DataPlug sends vehicle data in real time to a smartphone paired with Bluetooth. In conjunction with the app Volkswagen Connect and Volkswagen ConnectedVan on the smartphone, a variety of data can be evaluated and displayed. To do this, the 16-pin plug is plugged into the ODB-2 interface of the vehicle and does not require a separate power supply. Thus, the driver of the vehicle is always accurately informed about the vehicle condition. Compatible apps can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Available apps are e.g. Volkswagen Connect and Volkswagen ConnectedVan.
