Vintage Hand Blown Blue Glass Whale Artist Signed "Ron Ray 1998"  Many may instantly recognize the "Blue Bird of Happiness" created by Ron Ray which are the little hand blown glass blue birds that are so popular.  This hand blown glass whale is preowned.  There are no cracks, chips, or repairs.
FYI  - in picture #4 it looks like he has a scratch - there is no scratch there.
There is surface wear due to age and normal use.  On the back of the tail there are two areas of what looks to be multiple air bubbles very close together and on each one is a flea bite. One of the areas has what looks to be a purplish color dot in the center of it.  I washed him with soap and hot water and that dot would not go away. Please see the last picture.  I took the picture using a jeweler's loupe so you can clearly see the area and what I am writing about. It is difficult to see just looking at the figurine, but it is there. No surprises when you open your package.  Please see pictures as your opinion and mine may differ.  This little whale is cute as can be. My lack of photography skills does not due this little fellow justice. He is adorable.  He has an eye on each side with a great big smile and a water spout on top.  His tail is curled up and he's ready for a swim.

I will mail items within 2 days of order except on weekends and holidays. To clarify, if you purchase and pay for something on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or a holiday, I will mail it on the following Monday the carrier is open. In the event the carrier is closed on that Monday, I will mail it on Tuesday.

My late husband was military and believe me your item will be well packaged against breakage. In any event, I require insurance on all items that are delicate and/or breakable. In the rare event something arrives damaged, please let me know so we can get a claim going for you to be refunded by the carrier.  If an item is sturdy and non-breakable, I will agree to different mailing options.
