Description
In 1982, I was lucky to visit Budapest where I bought this and three other movie posters. I did not know Hungarian and bought it on the basis of the quality of the illustration and graphic design. It is only through Google Translate and image search that I now know what the poster promotes.According to IMDB, this poster promotes the 1981 Russian drama movie by Samvel Gasparov,
Khleb, zoloto, nagan
, which translates to "Corn, Evil, Rebuke." "Russia during the Civil War. An employee of the orphanage, an intelligent girl Olya, and Red Navy Sasha carry three bags of grain for orphanages. When whites attack the city of Gorodok, Olya and Sasha have to flee. The Chekist Gorbach and the head of the railway station Zaytsev are hiding with them. Zaytsev accidentally becomes the owner of a bag with confiscated gold, but hides it from his comrades. Together, they experience many adventures, escaping from whites and bandits."
Will ship rolled in a medium size USPS priority mail tube which I will cut down to make shipping more affordable. Note: I do not charge extra fees on shipping. I am well aware that shipping larger posters is expensive but I promise that I am not adding fees to the cost.
The poster is 26" x 37". I am listing all four posters that I bought in Budapest; check them out. Will combine shipping, of course!
