WW2 US helmet

Description

For sale is a WW2 US helmet. This is an early war helmet as it is fixed bail and front seam. They only made fixed bail helmets for a few years in the beginning of the war. The steel pot itself is in good condition and both bails are still attached. The straps attached are reproductions.
The helmet liner is also not original but comes with the helmet. The liner is a cool double signed by CAPAC and Westinghouse.
The steel pot had an interesting fold on the front. A manufacturing error that passed through.
