WWII US Navy leather fighter pilot helmet and goggles

Description

This is a very nice WWII leather Navy flight helmet made by Slote and Klein. It’s attributed to an Avenger pilot, Lt John Cresto who flew with VC-63 in the PTO. There is no paperwork or documentation provenance with it, it’s just the facts that were provided to me when I bought it. It’s a rare XL size and in very nice condition, as are the goggles.
